I have been passionate about computers and software development since I was 10 years old. I started creating applications under Commodore 64 :-)
After studying computer science at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons (where I am still a scientific collaborator), I worked as an IT manager for a multimedia software design company. In 1999, I created my own company (BMind) specialized in CMS. Throughout my career, I have developed many software and trained professional developers in Microsoft technologies. In 2018, I joined the Microsoft development department at Oniryx, as Principal .NET architect.
I am also Microsoft certified in C# (70-483) and HTML5 (70-480) and Scrum Master (scrum.org). In 2016, I received the MVP Award from Microsoft, to thank me for my community activities in Microsoft technologies.
Since a few years, I am a podcaster in the DevApps: a podcast dedicated to Technologies and News in the Microsoft domain.
Every year, I organize DevDay: an event organized by developers and for developers.
I am a speaker in many French-speaking events (Agile Day, ReBuild, MS Experience, DevDay, …).
I created and maintain the projects Apps72 :
- Database Command: a set of components that help developers to execute SQL queries and to retrieve data.
- DBMocker : A .NET library that simplifies the use of unit tests linked to a relational database (via DbCmd, Dapper, Entity Framework, …).
- DbCmd Entity generator : a command line to generate C# classes associated to the tables of your SQL, Oracle (or others) database.
- And other projects on https://github.com/dvoituron
